Text Animation Effects

Add motion to your text with effects like Typewriter, Glitch, and Pulse.

Adding Dynamic Text Effects

Bring your text to life with built-in animation effects. These can be applied to any text clip to add visual interest and emphasis.

Applying a Text Effect

  1. Select a Text Clip: Click on a text clip on your timeline.
  2. Go to the Animations Tab: In the Effects Panel on the right, click on the Animations tab (the sparkle icon).
  3. Choose an Effect: Under the "Text Effect" section, use the dropdown menu to select an effect. The canvas will immediately show a preview of the animation.

Available Effects

Typewriter

This effect reveals your text character by character, simulating the look of a typewriter.

  • Speed: Adjust the slider to control how fast the characters appear.
  • Cursor Color: You can customize the color of the blinking cursor that appears at the end of the text.

Glitch

The Glitch effect creates a digital distortion, making the text appear to flicker and break apart. This is great for a futuristic or edgy aesthetic.

Pulse

This effect causes the characters in your text to gently scale up and down, creating a subtle, rhythmic "pulsing" motion.

Animated

The "Animated" effect makes each character individually fall and rotate into place. It's a dynamic way to introduce a title or important message.

Note: You can only apply one of these special text effects at a time. Choosing a new one will replace the previous effect. However, you can still combine any of these text effects with the standard In/Out Animations (like Fade or Slide) for even more dynamic results.
