Why You Need a Pixabay API Key

Video Weaver integrates with Pixabay to give you direct access to a vast library of free-to-use stock videos and images. To enable this feature, you need to provide your own personal Pixabay API key. This is a one-time setup.

Getting a key is free, easy, and only takes a minute.

Step 1: Go to the Pixabay API Documentation

Open your web browser and navigate to the Pixabay API documentation page: https://pixabay.com/api/docs/

Step 2: Log In or Sign Up

To access your API key, you need a Pixabay account.

• If you already have an account, click Log in.
• If you don't, click Join to create a free account.

Step 3: Find and Copy Your API Key

Once you are logged in, the documentation page will display your personal API key. It will be shown in the "Parameters" section under the key parameter.

Highlight and copy the entire key string.

Step 4: Paste the Key into Video Weaver

1. Return to the Video Weaver editor.
2. Open the Project Settings panel (the gear icon).
3. Scroll down to the API Keys section.
4. Paste your copied key into the "Pixabay API Key" input field.

That's it! You can now go to the Assets Panel, click on the Pixabay tab, and start searching for high-quality stock photos and videos to use in your projects.
